Canceling Your Plan

How to cancel, what keeps working until your end date, what happens on that date, and how to come back.

Owners cancel from Company Settings → Billing → Manage billing. Your plan keeps running until the end of the period you've already paid for — your current month on a monthly plan, or your current year on a yearly one. If a partner pays for your plan, cancel through your partner instead — see Partner Billing.

How to cancel

  1. Go to Company Settings → Billing and click Manage billing.
  2. Choose to cancel your plan, and confirm.
  3. Come back to your account. Your plan's badge now reads "Cancels on" and the date your plan ends.

Admins and members can't cancel — only an owner can open Manage billing.

Changing your mind

Until that date, you can undo it: open Manage billing again and renew your plan. The badge goes back to Active, and nothing else changes.

What happens on your end date

  • Your team loses access. Everyone who signs in sees Choose your plan instead of your dashboard. Owners and admins can choose a plan again from there; members are asked to get an owner or admin to do it.
  • Your estimator goes offline. Homeowners see a "Temporarily Unavailable" page — Failed Payments shows exactly what it says — and no new leads come in.
  • There's no refund for the rest of the period — see our Terms of Service.

Before that date, take your estimator link off your website, ads and anything else homeowners follow, so they don't hit a dead end.

Your leads and settings

Ending your plan doesn't delete anything. Your settings, Price Book and leads stay as they are, and if you choose a plan again, your estimator comes back at the same address.

If you want your own copy of your leads, export them before your end date — after it, you can't open Estimates. Export CSV on the Estimates list saves the leads on screen, 25 at a time, so go through every page, in both the Active and Archived views.

Can I pause instead?

No — there's no way to pause a plan. If your business is seasonal, you can cancel and come back later. Bear in mind that coming back on a monthly plan means paying the one-time setup fee again, unless it's been waived for your company. Yearly plans never have one.

Coming back

An owner or admin signs in, picks a plan on Choose your plan, and pays. Everything is as you left it, and your estimator comes back online as soon as the payment goes through.

Deleting isn't canceling

Deleting your company ends billing immediately — and deletes everything. Company Settings → Danger zone → Delete company cancels your plan on the spot, with no refund for the rest of the period, and permanently deletes your leads, your settings and your estimator. Only an owner can do it, and it can't be undone.

Deleting your own login doesn't cancel anything. If you delete your account from Account Settings → Danger zone, your company's plan keeps renewing and your card keeps being charged. Cancel the plan first — and if the business is carrying on without you, make sure someone else is an owner before you go.
