Package Tier Names
What your three tier names change for homeowners and in lead summaries, what they don't change, and what a blank name falls back to.
Every priced estimate shows up to three options, one per tier. Company Settings → Selling Points → Package tier names sets what each tier is called. The names are labels only — prices, equipment and the order of the options stay the same whatever you call them.
Which field is which
| Field | Tier | Left blank, homeowners see | New accounts start with |
|---|---|---|---|
| Top tier | Your premium option, shown first | Best | Premier |
| Mid tier | The middle option | Better | Value |
| Entry tier | Your entry-level option, shown last | Good | Economy |
Options always run top tier first — left to right on a computer, top to bottom on a phone. The tick-box columns in the Selling points card run the other way, entry tier first, headed with your names.
What homeowners see
Each name sits in a badge at the top of its option, on the page listing your options and again on the page for the option they chose. The top tier's badge is filled with your brand color. On a computer, the page listing your options moves that color to whichever option the mouse is over.
Multi-zone mini-split options don't use tier names — they're labeled by number of zones instead.
Where else they appear
- Lead notification emails and your CRM, if you've set them up. The estimate summary lists each option by its tier name, then the equipment and price. It's written when the lead arrives, so renaming a tier later doesn't change emails already sent or contacts already in your CRM.
- The rest of this settings page. The columns in the Selling points card, the tiers in Customize for specific systems and Preview homeowner view all use your names.
- A lead's detail page. Its Estimate Summary, and the PDF from Export as PDF, label each option with your current names.
The Price Book doesn't use them: it always says Best, Better and Good.
What they don't change
Prices, equipment, photos, the order the options appear in, and which option is highlighted. How many options a homeowner sees depends on your pricing in Company Settings → Price Book, not on this card.
Leaving a name blank
Clear a field and click Save to go back to the generic name — Best, Better or Good. It doesn't go back to Premier, Value and Economy, the names your account started with; type those in again if you want them back.
Limits
- Up to 40 characters each. Each name sits in a small badge, so short names read best.
- Spaces at either end are removed when you click Save.
Selling Points
What each card in Selling Points changes for homeowners, which bullets a homeowner gets, and how to check your work before they see it.
Shared Selling Points
How the bullets under Included with every install are chosen for each option, how edits reach customized systems, and the starter bullets to check before going live.
