Shared Selling Points
How the bullets under Included with every install are chosen for each option, how edits reach customized systems, and the starter bullets to check before going live.
The Selling points card in Company Settings → Selling Points is one list of bullets shared by every system you sell. You tick which tiers each bullet belongs on, and homeowners see the ticked bullets, in your list order, under Included with every install.
What homeowners see
On the page listing your options, each option ends with a collapsed Included with every install section, below its Continue button. Opening it on one option opens it on all of them, so homeowners can compare the lists side by side.
On the page for the option they chose, that option shows its list again, also collapsed. On a phone the option sits below the Schedule Free Home Visit button.
- Every bullet shows. There's no "show more", so a long list makes a long card.
- A tier with no bullets shows no section at all — not even the heading.
- Selling points never reach your lead emails or CRM. Only the tier names and prices do.
Choosing which tiers a bullet shows on
Each bullet has a tick box for each tier, headed with your tier names — entry tier first, the reverse of the order homeowners see. A new bullet starts ticked on all three.
A bullet with every box unticked doesn't show anywhere, unless you've added it to a customized system — see Customize for Specific Systems.
Changing the order
Homeowners see bullets in the order of this list, top first. Each tier shows its ticked bullets in that order. Use the arrows on a row to move it up or down, and put what matters most to a homeowner comparing prices at the top.
Editing and deleting
- Editing a bullet's text changes it everywhere, including in systems you've customized.
- Deleting a bullet removes it everywhere once you click Save, customized systems included. Clearing a bullet's text and saving deletes it too.
- Duplicates aren't merged. Two bullets with the same text both show.
Nothing reaches homeowners until you click Save. Discard puts the list back to what was last saved.
If you've customized any systems
A customized tier keeps its own list, so only some changes here reach it:
| When you… | Tiers using this list | Customized tiers |
|---|---|---|
| Edit a bullet's text | Updated | Updated |
| Delete a bullet | Removed | Removed |
| Reorder the list | Follow the new order | Keep their own order |
| Untick a tier | Removed from that tier | Still shown |
| Add a bullet, or tick a tier | Added | Not added — add it with Add a shared point… |
Your account starts with a starter set
New accounts come with about a dozen bullets on each tier, already ticked. They're a starting point, not a description of your business — and several make promises on your behalf:
- A warranty on every tier — 10 years' parts, with 1, 2 or 5 years' labor from the entry tier up to the top tier.
- A free preventative maintenance visit, plus a 1-year satisfaction guarantee, a workmanship guarantee and an Apples to Apples Guarantee, on every tier.
- Removal of the old equipment, electrical alterations, sheet metal, and all permits and inspections — included in the price on every tier.
- Lifetime electronic air filtration on the top tier.
Change or delete anything that isn't true for your business before you send traffic to your estimator. Homeowners read these as what they're getting.
You'll see Apples to Apples Guarantee twice in the list: one copy is ticked for the mid tier, the other for the entry and top tiers. Each tier only shows one.
The onboarding checklist's advice is 3 to 6 short bullets per tier, leading with the outcome rather than the feature — so expect to trim.
Limits
- Up to 60 bullets, 200 characters each. The Add point button disappears at 60.
- Blank rows are removed when you click Save.
Checking your work
Preview homeowner view, next to Add point, shows the list for any system and tier, customizations included. It only shows what's saved, so click Save first.
Package Tier Names
What your three tier names change for homeowners and in lead summaries, what they don't change, and what a blank name falls back to.
Customize for Specific Systems
Giving one system's tier its own bullets and order — which homeowners see it, what stops updating automatically, and how to undo it.
