Financing Options
The "As low as $X/mo" payment, financing offers, the pre-approval button and your lender's disclaimer — what homeowners see, and where.
Company Settings → Price Book → Financing options controls the monthly payment shown under every price, and what homeowners are told about financing.
The monthly payment
Every priced option shows As low as $X/mo under the price. You can't turn it off — you can only change how it's worked out.
- With a payment factor: monthly = price × your factor. Most lenders publish their plans as a payment factor — a percentage of the price. At 1.10%, a $10,000 system shows $110/mo.
- With the box left blank, or set to 0: monthly = price ÷ 120 — the same as spreading it over ten years with no interest.
| Price | Left blank | 1.10% | 1.50% |
|---|---|---|---|
| $10,000 | $83/mo | $110/mo | $150/mo |
| $16,159 | $135/mo | $178/mo | $242/mo |
The factor can be anything from 0% to 10%. The payment includes any location surcharge and is rounded to the dollar.
Financing offers
Up to three short lines — 0% interest for 18 months, say — shown in a Financing available card below your options, beside the rebates card when that's showing. Each gets a check mark. Leave a line blank to skip it.
The card only appears on the page listing your options. With no offers and no pre-approval link, it doesn't appear at all.
Pre-approval link
Paste your lender's application link and homeowners get a Get Pre-Approved button — in the Financing available card, and on the page for the option they chose. It opens in a new tab. The link has to start with http:// or https://.
Financing disclaimer
Shown at the foot of every page of your estimator — the form steps as well as the results — below the standard line "*This estimate is based on the information you provided. Final pricing may vary after a site visit to verify installation conditions and system requirements." Line breaks you type are kept, up to 2,000 characters.
New accounts start with a general lender disclaimer already filled in. Read it, and replace it with the wording your lender requires.
What homeowners don't see
Apart from what you write in your offers, homeowners never see a lender's name, an interest rate, a term or your payment factor — only the monthly figure.
Not the same as the Financing margin
Business Pricing has a Financing margin too. That one is a cost built into every price — dealer fees, for example — and has nothing to do with the monthly payment shown here.
When changes reach homeowners
- The monthly payment is saved with each estimate, so a new factor applies from the next estimate.
- Offers, the pre-approval link and the disclaimer are read fresh every time a page opens, so changes show up on old results links too.
A lead's detail page shows the monthly payment the homeowner was shown, under each option in its Estimate Summary.
Pricing Range
Showing homeowners a price range instead of one exact number — how the range is worked out, where it appears, and where the exact price still shows.
Business Pricing
The margins, labor, warranty and maintenance costs that Calculator mode turns into a homeowner's price, and which systems each one applies to.
