Form Options

What each card in Form Options changes for homeowners, and where on your estimator it shows up.

Company Settings → Form Options controls your estimator's address, which optional questions it asks, which equipment locations homeowners can choose, and the testimonials, FAQs, rebates and visit checklist that appear alongside their prices. Only owners and admins can open it — members don't see the tab.

Which results page shows what

A homeowner can land on three different results pages, and each card only appears on some of them:

  • Your options — the three priced options, side by side. This is where most homeowners land.
  • The option they chose — after they click one, a page headed Confirm Your Estimate with a Free Home Visit with the button to book.
  • Home visit instead of a price — the Schedule a Free Assessment page, when the home couldn't be priced online. See Online Estimate Home Visits.

Saving

Each card saves on its own — change one, click its Save, and the others are untouched. Discard puts the card back to what was last saved. The switches on Estimate Questions, Rebates & Incentives and Cookie Notice are the exception: they save the moment you flip them.

Changes are live for anyone who opens your estimator after you save.

Previewing your changes

The Preview form button at the top opens your estimator in a new tab with your settings applied. Two things differ from what a real homeowner sees:

  • Every question you ask appears, in order. Preview leaves out the questions your settings skip for everyone (see Estimate Questions), but a real homeowner also skips the questions that don't apply to their system — someone with a boiler never sees the outdoor unit question — so Preview is the easiest place to check both location questions.
  • The rebates card never appears. It needs a real submitted estimate.
  • The cookie notice never appears, even when it's switched on.
